MARINA ARIS
Marina is a former NYC Authors Guild Ambassador, author, literary founder, and book publishing strategist who believes age shouldn't limit literary achievement. She's also the proud mama to three creative and literary children—though one is technically old enough to have children of their own!
After building the Brooklyn Writers Press into an award-winning hybrid publisher, she created AVANTHAM to serve the underserved community of exceptional teen writers.

Do parents need to be involved in the process?We welcome and encourage parent involvement and require parental consent for writers under 18. We work closely with both teens and their families throughout the publishing journey.

What happens after my book is published?Authors will receive initial guidance on establishing their marketing platforms. They will also begin receiving net royalty payments on a quarterly basis.

How do I know if my manuscript is ready?Your manuscript should be completed, thoroughly self-edited, and represent your best work. We'll provide professional editing as part of our publishing process.

What genres do you publish?We publish all genres including fiction, poetry, memoirs, essay collections, and short stories. We're open to any genre that showcases exceptional teen literary talent.

What formats are books published in?We publish in e-book, paperback, and hardcover formats. For audiobooks, we work with a publishing partner to provide that option as well.

Where will my books be available for purchase?Your book will be available for global digital and print distribution through our established distribution channels, making it accessible to readers worldwide.

Will the press help me market?All of our authors will receive a complimentary author and book page on our website and be included in our social media campaigns. We will ask for professional author headshots and content for the site pages.
